What an Amazing Christmas.

I hope everyone here had a fantastic Christmas. We had so much fun this year, Justin took a few days off and we went sledding, shopping, went to the movies and saw Tangled, and just relaxed. We also have a new Christmas Eve tradition, we eat finger foods and sit in front of the t.v. and watch The Santa Claus. It doesn't sound like much but it was probably my favorite part this year. Oh and it was A's first Christmas.
There was one thing that was harder this year. How much and what do you get your kids for Christmas. It is kind of a hard balance, on one hand you want them to be happy and get what they have been asking for, but you also don't want them to think that Christmas is just about getting presents. So we arrange with Santa Claus and tell him to not go to crazy this Christmas. Christmas day comes, the girls open their presents and they love them, but I sat there looking at their presents thinking maybe we should have gotten them more. It didn't help that C turned to me and said I didn't get a camera. So we leave that afternoon to visit grandparents, we come home look at their presents and holy crap, they made out like bandits. We brought home a ton of presents. In the end we learned that we don't need to go all out on our kids for Christmas because our family will take care of that for us. Merry Christmas everyone.

It's a New Blog and a New Year.

I have a new blog, YAY, another blog for me to neglect. I have been meaning to start up a new blog for awhile. I wanted to start fresh, rethink the way I blog. It started when my all too paranoid mind started googling myself and realizing that I might be putting my family at a little bit of a risk. So new to the blog I will keep our kids names private, it might not do much but it will put my mind at ease a little bit. I'm excited for this new start and I really hope I stay on top of this one a little better, that can be my New Year's resolution. (Like exercise it might come to an end in February.) Have a great day everyone.
